PetWave Is Fully Open For Business - COVID-19 Update

OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL - WATCHING CLOSELY

Coronavirus COVID-19 Situation - Updated Monday 10th Novembber 2020

Latest Corona Virus (COVID-19) Update: PetWave is Open for Business for your Pets needs 24/7, with no current restrictions. We continue to deliver Australia Wide. As an "Essential Business" we expect to continue supplying uninterrupted for most products. If you order by 7:30am, you can expect next day delivery. Freight company service levels are generally strong currently. We are watching the situation closely and pragmatically suggest you order early to mitigate any unforseen risk.

PetWave continue to supply our customers to a high level of service and quality & all staff remain fit & healthy.

PetWave are one of the the few live fish suppliers that source many of our live fish domestically in Australia. Our domestic suppliers are currently expanding their domestic growing facilties to be capable of growing more species of live fish locally & to continue to minimise any supply interruptions of live fish to our customers.

Over the past few weeks, imported live fish into Australia have been affected by a significant reduction in flights to Australia - with many flights being cancelled or filled with essential supplies such as medical equipment due to COVID-19 situation. Currently some species of fish that would normally be in stock at Petwave are hard to come by. This is changing weekly. PetWave continue to work with our suppliers and freight companies to try and overcome this supply issue. It is our understanding that all importers of live fish have been affected by this developing situation.

Current indications are that there may be supply challenges for imported live fish in Australia for the remainder of 2020. We will try to keep our stocks up to date (although there are sometimes slight unavoidable delays which we try our hardest to minimise).

PetWave pragmatically recommend that you order sufficient critical items such as pet food early and create a small buffer of stock just in case supply is temporarily interrupted beyond our control.

Previously Communicated:

PetWave take seriously our essential role in providing specialised food, equipment & other important products to your pets. We have strong plans and contingencies in place to address escalation of this situation.

PetWave understand that we are part of an "Essential Industry" supplying food to your pets and therefore we will be allowed to continue trading should government lockdowns be escalated in parts of Australia. Our freight companies have assured us that they will also continue trading across Australia. State border or other area lockdowns do not currently affect PetWave freight companies (they are allowed through all check-points). Suprisingly current service levels are actually better than normal due to less freight in the system. This situation remains dynamic.

PetWave have been monitoring the pandemic closely and putting appropriate changes in place in line with Health Department recommendations.

PetWave's highest priority is the health and safety of our staff, customers and the community. PetWave are closely following the latest official recommendations including instigating rigorous hygiene protocols for all PetWave staff including using our High Strength and Non-Toxic Disinfectant in our facilities and homes and social distancing to minimise any chance of virus exposure.

This situation is changing quickly, so PetWave will evolve our response to suit and keep you informed should anything materially change.

We are all in this together and encourage everyone to be aware of health and community guidelines to minimise risks. PetWave recommend the Department of Health website for more information.

Thank you for your ongoing support of PetWave and please stay safe.

Kind Regards

Chris Read & the PetWave Team
