Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is a specialist wildlife centre located in Perth, Western Australia, dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured wild native black cockatoos. Kaarakin are the only facility dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of black cockatoos in Australia. PetWave proudly donate our premium live insects such as mealworms to help the Black Cockatoos to make a quick and full recovery. Droplets in a Stream (DIAS) works with trusted leaders in Kenya and Uganda to give vulnerable children an education, medical care (when required) and especially a bright future. DIAS is an ACNC-registered charity based in Brisbane, Australia, with tax deductibility status. DIAS operates with no overheads (all administrative costs are covered by the Directors), which means 100% of all donations go directly to the children in Africa. AWC own and manage over 20 properties in areas such as the Kimberley, Cape York, Lake Eyre and the Top End. Covering an area of more than 3 million hectares, they establish sanctuaries and implement practical land management activities such as fire management and feral animal control to protect Australia's native wildlife.
